HERITAGE

a heritage farm growing in a communal space

We grow heritage specific varieties of the vegetables and herbs you know best

Heritage foods are rich in nutrients, flavor, culture and history. Examples include, rare heirloom varieties of okra, corn or tomatoes, sorghum, roselle (hibsicus), scotch bonnet peppers, callaloo, various varieties of collard greens, beans, and so much more!

Many heritage specific varieties are culturally important to many communities, coming from seeds that have been passed down through generations, with stories and journeys just as rich as our own.

We want to expand access for more communities of color to receive organically grown, local produce that they identify with. These varieties offer us more than just an exploration in flavor and nutrients. They also hold stories that remind us of ways to live, ways to care for each other, and ways to care for this earth.

Our produce is organically grown

We steward the land using regenerative, culturally specific & spiritually minded growing practices that cultivate life in the soil that in turn nourishes us. We cultivate these heritage varieties because we believe these foods hold the stories of the ancestors, as well as the promise of the future.
